Board Member Opportunities

A flagship role for the club. The Director of Rugby leads all rugby activity – from minis and juniors through youth, women’s and senior rugby. They support coaches and team managers, shape the rugby strategy and culture, and ensure rugby is safe, enjoyable and well organised across the club. 

 The Women & Girls Rugby Director is the lead voice for women’s and girls’ rugby at the club and a key part of the Board. They work with players, parents, coaches, the Director of Rugby and the WRU to help women & girls’ rugby grow, thrive and feel fully part of the club. 

This role leads on how people hear about, join and stay connected with the club. The Digital, Communications & Membership Director oversees the website, social media and member communications, and helps make sure the membership journey is simple, welcoming and aligned with the club’s values. 

A key Board role leading the social heart of the club and overseeing volunteering across Llandaff North. This director helps plan and support a calendar of social events, matchday and community activities, recruits and coordinates volunteers, and makes sure everyone who gives their time feels welcomed, organised and appreciated.

A crucial Board role for the club. The Safeguarding & Welfare Director leads on keeping children, young people and adults at risk safe and supported, overseeing WRU safeguarding and DBS requirements, being the main point of contact for concerns, and helping to build a safeguarding culture.
